(Getty Images)Happy thirty-first birthday to Josh Beckett or as I've taken to calling him lately, Becky. [Aside: I know I shouldn't do it. I do still oppose the misogyny in sports; especially using feminine names as an insult. It just came out one day and really I don't even mean it in a derisive manner. I suspect that it's a Tito-ism; for a while there he was Becks and then suddenly he became Becky.] It was quite a performance and an excellent way to close out the year. Many happy returns of the day.
