How about this team?

Coming out of spring training, I wasn't really sure that I could trust this team to not break my heart again but it's been a fun year boys. And, of course, you still might do just that. Fortunately, expectations change and the thing that might break my heart now is not winning one hundred games.

So. Pedal to the metal. Full steam ahead. And all that jazz.

Daniel is Leaving Tonight on a Plane.

Alas, poor Daniel. We knew him, Horatio--a fellow of inifinite
outs, of most excellent fastball. He hath borne us on his back a
thousand times; and now, how abhorred my imagination is! My
gorge rises at it.

Daniel Bard was claimed off waivers by the Cubs today.  I like Daniel. I hope he figures himself out. I'm just sorry that he has to go play for the Cubs.
