Poor Theo.

I think that the general ineptness of the Cubs and the hopelessness of running that team must be getting to Theo. I don't remember him being this much of a baby when he was in Boston.

Theo wants to interview Torey Lovullo for his managerial opening. The problem for him is that Lovullo is under contract to the Boston Red Sox. Super duper non-compete agreement in place or not, tradition or not, Boston is under no obligation to release Lovullo from that contract just because Theo wants to talk to him.

And even though the Chicago brain trust is in the wrong in this situation, it's not going to stop them from whining about it.
